The practice of massage therapy involves the assessment and treatment of soft tissue & joints of the body along with the treatment and prevention of dysfunction, injury, pain and physical disorders of the soft tissues & joints. Massage therapists use manual and physical methods to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function to relieve pain and promote health throughout the musculoskeletal system, nervous system and beyond.

Registered massage therapy is well suited for acute and chronic or acute pain, rehabilitation of injury, stress management, mental health/stress, pre- and post-natal care, and general musculoskeletal maintenance, to name a few.

We have two excellent RMT's, Neill and Spencer.

They both integrate **myofascial release therapy, deep tissue & swedish massage techniques, joint mobilizations, and active & passive release techniques** into each therapeutic session.

Spencer and Neill’s goal is to customize patient care to meet the specific needs of the individual.

Dr. Brayden Kozak hails from Edmonton. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University in Alberta in 2017, and then moved to California to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West. He obtained his DC in March 2022 and moved back home to Canada to begin his chiropractic career. He specifically chose Vancouver to enjoy life by the ocean while avoiding the dreaded Alberta winters!

Growing up, Dr. Kozak was involved in many sports, with hockey and the swimming being his favorite. During his time at Palmer, he was heavily involved in Rehab 2 Performance and Motion Palpation clubs, which helped him get a deep understanding of what it takes to get athletes of all types back to top competing form. He was also a part of the Palmer West Sports Council where they would provide chiropractic care at multiple different types of sporting events around the Bay Area, ranging from mountain bike races to ironman triathlons. His participation in these clubs enhanced his knowledge of how to treat sports injuries, and how to create robust treatment plans to help athletes return to full functionality as fast as possible.

Having suffered through numerous hockey injuries, Dr. Kozak experienced firsthand the significant impact that chiropractic care could have on someone’s life. As a result, he is very passionate about passing his knowledge onto his patients and creating a plan of care that is specifically suited to ensure the best quality of life possible.

In his spare time, Dr. Kozak enjoys running, working out, skiing, snowboarding, and surfing. He is excited to be back in Canada and to explore all that Vancouver and the West Coast have to offer, with his dog Alfred. He looks forward to meeting his patients and helping them live a healthy and functional life!

For over 10 years, Neill worked as an RMT in Quebec, and is now registered in the Province of BC. Neill graduated from the Vancouver Career College RMT program in 2022 and is in good standing with the CMTBC.

His treatment approach is client centered, customizing each treatment to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient. Because, of his many years of experience, as well as the knowledge gained through the completion of the BC RMT Program, he recognizes the importance of considering the body in its entirety, when treating patients.

To achieve optimal treatment results, he utilizes a variety of massage techniques, some of which include myofascial releases, joint mobilization, and deep tissue techniques, when appropriate. Also, during each session, he incorporates stretching, patient education, and a home program is given to help fast track the recovery process.

Neill enjoys treating patients who are physically active, have undergone surgery, recovering from an injury, or are experiencing pain associated with their activities of daily living (ADLs)

He has been involved in competitive sport since childhood. Presently, he runs marathons and is preparing to compete in his 1st Iron Man competition.
