The practice of massage therapy involves the assessment and treatment of soft tissue & joints of the body along with the treatment and prevention of dysfunction, injury, pain and physical disorders of the soft tissues & joints. Massage therapists use manual and physical methods to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function to relieve pain and promote health throughout the musculoskeletal system, nervous system and beyond.

Registered massage therapy is well suited for acute and chronic or acute pain, rehabilitation of injury, stress management, mental health/stress, pre- and post-natal care, and general musculoskeletal maintenance, to name a few.

We have three excellent RMT's, Jad, Paul and Spencer.

They all integrate **myofascial release therapy, deep tissue & swedish massage techniques, joint mobilizations, and active & passive release techniques** into each therapeutic session.

Spencer, Paul and Jad’s goal is to customize patient care to meet the specific needs of the individual.

Paul is a graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Paul was inspired to be a registered massage therapist through his own experiences of injury and healing. His physical and athletic life, including competitive powerlifting, meant that he and his teammates often needed treatment to recover from injuries and to improve performance. Now he’s thrilled to be able to help others pursue their own active life.

Paul is fascinated by the complex balance of the body’s network of muscle and fascia and how it influences movement & stability. His approach to care includes assessing this balance of tension and tissue quality and using a variety of techniques to help restore tissue health and structural integrity.

His soft tissue therapies range from light to deep depending on your individual needs and preferences. Additionally, he utilizes techniques such as trigger point therapy, breath work, neuromuscular techniques, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and light mobilizations, as well as education and home care exercises tailored to your specific case.

When he’s not working, Paul loves training in the gym, hiking, biking, swimming, cooking… and “nerding out” on various scientific subjects & the financial markets.
