Dr. Brayden Kozak hails from Edmonton. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University in Alberta in 2017, and then moved to California to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic West. He obtained his DC in March 2022 and moved back home to Canada to begin his chiropractic career. He specifically chose Vancouver to enjoy life by the ocean while avoiding the dreaded Alberta winters!
Growing up, Dr. Kozak was involved in many sports, with hockey and the swimming being his favorite. During his time at Palmer, he was heavily involved in Rehab 2 Performance and Motion Palpation clubs, which helped him get a deep understanding of what it takes to get athletes of all types back to top competing form. He was also a part of the Palmer West Sports Council where they would provide chiropractic care at multiple different types of sporting events around the Bay Area, ranging from mountain bike races to ironman triathlons. His participation in these clubs enhanced his knowledge of how to treat sports injuries, and how to create robust treatment plans to help athletes return to full functionality as fast as possible.
Having suffered through numerous hockey injuries, Dr. Kozak experienced firsthand the significant impact that chiropractic care could have on someone’s life. As a result, he is very passionate about passing his knowledge onto his patients and creating a plan of care that is specifically suited to ensure the best quality of life possible.
In his spare time, Dr. Kozak enjoys running, working out, skiing, snowboarding, and surfing. He is excited to be back in Canada and to explore all that Vancouver and the West Coast have to offer, with his dog Alfred. He looks forward to meeting his patients and helping them live a healthy and functional life!

** Spencer is working reduced hours from Nov 24 to Dec 24 due to an unfortunate injury. Please be patient as he recovers, many thanks! **
Spencer is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.
Growing up immersed in sport, he eventually narrowed his focus on volleyball and competed with the University of Manitoba Bisons Men’s Team. Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Spencer went on to become assistant coach of the University of Manitoba Women’s Volleyball Team.
After struggling through years of injuries, Spencer backed away from his opportunity to play volleyball in Europe and made the move to Vancouver to follow a different path. Through these experiences, he gathered an understanding of the mental and physical aspects of rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance, as well as how it applies to each person differently. Supporting people as they learn about their own bodies, he emphasizes patient education, movement, and long-term goals in his treatment plans.
Myofascial release therapy, deep tissue and swedish massage, joint mobilizations, and active and passive release techniques are integrated into each therapeutic session. Spencer’s goal is to customize patient care to meet the specific needs of the individual.
Spencer loves his free time! When he’s not at the lab, he loves to hike, bike, exercise, do yoga, play sports and board games, sit around fires, hot tub, bathe, camp, road trip, stretch, and get a full night’s sleep.

Since earning his DC in 2008, Dr. Almon has consulted and treated numerous professional athletes & sports teams, including the Chinese National Speed Skating Team, PGA Tour athletes, Alpine Ski Ontario, FIVB Volleyball athletes, Vancouver Canucks development program, Canadian Women’s soccer team, professional sprint cyclists and multiple Olympic athletes in various disciplines. He is also a coach for the West Vancouver Track & Field Club’s varsity team.
Dr. Jeff founded MVMTLAB in 2013 with a vision to transform the health care industry by changing the way practitioners approach a patient’s pain /injury diagnosis and the subsequent treatment plan. He takes a special interest in complex cases of chronic pain. Dr Jeff treats patients with a focus on dynamic neuromuscular stabilization and reactive stability. Patients play an active role in their own recovery journey. Everyone is welcome - athlete or not.
He is the creator of MVMTLAB’s Neuroplasticity Gym and its two group classes : Ground Control and BAZOOKA. He designed these programs to accelerate an injured patient’s recovery time. Both classes can also serve as a pre-hab protocol to prevent injuries, by detecting imbalances and weaknesses before it is too late. The programs help reset movement patterns and muscle activation capability, thereby returning the brain & body to their pre-injury state. Ground Control is whole-body focused, whereas BAZOOKA is specifically for shoulders.
Dr. Jeff is always excited to share his knowledge and ideas on how to create a more functional human experience.
Dr Jeff works at our Gastown location from Tuesday to Friday, and at our North Vancouver location on Mondays.

Chris Krammer is a Registered Physiotherapist and avid human performance enthusiast.
Chris was born with a brain that wanted to move, explore and push its limits, but it was stuck inside a body that couldn’t quite keep up. With each new sport or physical challenge came a new pain or injury, seemingly without reason. Firmly believing that all puzzles can be solved, Chris found his answers in the gym. Not only did strategic exercise eliminate his pain and help him return to the sports he loved, it helped him reach even higher levels of performance. With a body that could finally keep up with his brain, Chris developed a love for basketball, powerlifting, snowboarding, and outdoor exploration, as well as a deep passion for exercise science.
Realizing there could be no better career than helping others achieve the same physical freedom, Chris attended the University of British Columbia with the goal of becoming a Strength & Performance Specialist, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology.
During his studies, Chris worked as a Certified Personal Trainer at Bodyworks UBC and as a Student Strength Coach in the Varsity Gym. It was during this time that he became frustrated, finding that even with effective exercise, there were cases of persistent pain that prevented his clients from participating in their favorite sports and activities, and limited their potential. Realizing that there were more pieces to the pain and performance puzzle, Chris changed course, and earned his Master’s of Physiotherapy from UBC, graduating in 2019. Along the way, he kept a sharp eye out for every bit of information he could find that might be useful, and broadened his understanding of the mind and body by drawing on everything from art and mythology to industry-leading research on flow states and their interaction with pain, performance, and mental health.
Now fully equipped with an extensive exercise background and an ever-deepening holistic understanding of the Human Machine, Chris has joined the team at MVMTLAB. His goal is to share what he’s learned and experienced with his patients, serving as a guide on their rehabilitation journey, and to give each individual the tools they need to take direct control of their health and performance,
Chris treats with a combination of manual therapy and strategic therapeutic exercise. His treatments are designed to help his clients discover flow and reconnect to their bodies, removing pain barriers and opening the door to new levels of performance and a deeper enjoyment of life.
When he isn’t helping people return to their favorite activities, Chris enjoys reading, listening to music, and finding his own moments of flow through testing his athletic limits and exploring multiple creative outlets - including writing, woodworking, painting, and playing bass.
